Men's Ministry
You have heard me teach many things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses.  Teach these great truths to trustworthy men who are able to teach others the same.  - 2 Tim. 2:2

Introduction

It is difficult to think of any work in which the church of Christ should be involved that is more important than ministering to the men in its congregations.  Yet the church, the greatest organization on earth with the greatest mission in the world is being increasingly deserted by the men.  Why?  Because the church is not teaching its men godly masculinity with its responsibilities, and great joys.

Many men don’t know what a good father/husband is supposed to do with his family having never had one growing up.  What’s worse, many wives don’t even expect family leadership from the men anymore.

Yet it is the men who are to bring God’s good rule and His joy to everyone in his home.  It is up to the man to see that joy prevails in both the house of God and his own home.  Such statements invariably invoke ire into the women of America today!  But many come from homes where they have never seen the wonderful blessings of Godly masculinity — even though their fathers/husbands may have confessed Christ.

God’s great plan for His men is that they have households that reflect Him and His household.  This is God’s plan; this has always been God’s plan.  It has been eclipsed in this generation by the sin of our culture and the failure of the church to keep it clearly before its men.  May we give ourselves to the development of the men God gives to us to the great benefit and joy of all.

The Men’s Ministry exists to see our men experiencing key male relationships in order to learn and practice the Godly characteristics of loyalty and sacrifice essential to all relationships.

Men's Development Groups

These groups meet monthly and consist of the men of a group of 8-10 families meeting together bi-monthly called a cell group.  These meetings address the personal needs of the men as heads of their homes as well as providing opportunities for them to care for the afflicted and needy of their group.

Men’s Training Classes

During the Sunday school hour there will be classes giving Biblical instruction on various, critical issues of the purpose, responsibilities and joys of being a man of God in the various situations of life and in the home.
